Countdown to Christmas... Day 24...Christmas Felt Garland

Welcome to the Frugal Countdown to Christmas! Today I will be sharing how to make a Christmas felt garland. This is a fun, easy & very frugal Christmas decoration. It costs under $5 to make!!

Here is what you will need....
* 1 piece of each of red, green & white felt
* White cotton
* Sewing machine
* A circle shaped object in the desired size of your choice, scissors & a pen (If you have a machine that cuts circles, then you could also use that).

Here is how to make it....
1. Trace 10 circles on each piece of coloured felt and cut out. You should have a total of 30 circles.
2. Line up the first circle so that the stitching line will go directly through the middle of the circle. And then start sewing. Although it is only a cotton stitch holding the garland together, it is surprisingly strong.

 3. When you get to the end of the first circle, ensure that the needle remains in the felt. Lift the foot and insert the second piece of felt, so that it is completely butted up against the first. Release the foot back down and continue sewing. Do this until every piece is sewn in the order of your choice.

You can also make them in whatever colour you like, not just for Christmas.

 Drape it over anything you like, or hang on the wall as a decoration. You can also wrap it around your Christmas tree, in place of tinsel.

Enjoy!
